Although this only covers a few of the questions you might have before beginning a project with me, it should be a good start.
Every project varies immensely so it is hard to provide an answer before I speak with you about your needs and vision for your website. The items that affect the cost the most for any project are the size of the website and advanced functionality requirements like shopping carts and galleries. I will be able to give you a flat rate for your project as soon as we connect.
Absolutely. I do this all the time. The best thing about your new website is that it will have a more modern feel. In addition, the site will be responsive to all devices; desktops, tablets, and phones.
I get this question a lot. I would say, under normal circumstances, when my client is prepared and has the project already laid out and all the content available, the time is 4-5 weeks. I can rush a project for an additional fee in as little as 2 weeks.
Yes. For new sites I require 50% for work to began and the remaining 50% is due at the completion of the project.
Your website will be done at a flat rate (not including the purchase of fonts, images, theme, plugins, hosting, url registration, site transfer, etc). After the website is completed, if you want me to continue updating your site, I work at an hourly rate.
Absolutely! Wordpress is incredibly flexible, as flexible as a static website. And the biggest advantage is that down the road you can make updates to your site yourself (if you desire…I’m happy to do them for you), which will save money and time.
NO! This is a big misconception. While WordPress was initially created as a blogging platform, it has come a long way. The possibilities are endless. Check out my portfolio if you would like to see some examples how Wordpress can be modified to suit your needs.
Yes. I can even register your domain for you. When it comes down to it, I can do whatever you need or I can point you in the right direction.
If you choose, I can optimize your site for search engines in terms of using header tags, meta tags, and alt tags. I can also install WordPress SEO, which does a pretty good job on its own. However, I don’t offer guidance on specific keywords to target or anything of that nature. Essentially I make sure that everything is set up properly from our end. If interested I can refer you to people who do more extensive SEO services.
